Kem Meyer has an great post on her decision to Twitter. Check it out here. I’ve decided to try it out (matt_judkins) for some of the same reasons she mentions in her post. For the most part my reason for wading into these waters is this: pastors are communicators. So, shouldn’t we at least give the latest greatest communication strategies a shot? I think so.
Matt, I’ll be interested to see how your experiences go. It seems to me like a potentially useful pastoral tool if your people follow you.

I’ve been on Twitter since the new year, and I love it. It is much better than Facebook, and I think the ministry potential is huge. I began using Twitter after reading Seth Godin’s book “Tribes.” Here is a reflection on Twitter after using it for 6 weeks or so:
